From aromatic pho simmering with rich flavours to crispy banh mi bursting with savoury fillings, Vietnam's culinary treasures are renowned worldwide.

The rich and varied cuisine of Vietnam often sneaks under the radar, but I can tell you that the food here is some of the best in Asia. Historically, Vietnam’s chefs looked north towards China and west towards Thailand for influences creating a unique regional cuisine, shaped over hundreds of years, that meets somewhere in the middle.

The resulting fusion has Southeast Asia’s zeal for herbs and spices, tempered by China’s love of clean, clear flavors. Some of the most popular food and drink in Vietnam also has subtle influences from the country's six decades under French colonial rule.

Needless to say, this journey to Vietnam will be a feast.

ACCOMODATION

You will enjoy a quiet stay in a private upscale villa in Hoi An. It features an air-conditioned room with an open view.

There's free private parking.

The suite is fitted with a desk, a private bathroom, Egyptian cotton bed linen, and towels.

You have full access to the house, you can enjoy a beautiful garden, the living room and the kitchen with daily staff.

Hoi An lanterns have both aesthetic and spiritual meaning. They symbolize good luck, peace, prosperity, and happiness, and are a key part of the Hoi An Lantern Festival. The festival, held on the 14th day of each lunar month, sees the town illuminated by thousands of lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere.

Releasing a lantern on the Hoai River is a deeply symbolic act, representing letting go of past worries and making wishes for a brighter future.

The neighborhood includes local eateries, all kinds of stores, the beach, some of the best restaurants in Hoi An, and more all within walking/cycling distance.

We are approximately a 30-45mn drive from Da Nang International Airport depending on traffic conditions.
